We traveled the world together, we did everything on your list but the Panama canal but in January you will go with dad and once again I will make sure I am your security guard. To my second mom I am trying to write what you meant to me 42 years of memories so many to write. One of the days you loved the most was Christmas and as I found out you was going to live your last days in my house I wanted to decorate this tree for your last Christmas with us. I remembered you saying it was beautiful.  You meant the world to me and recently you spoke with my mom to thank her for having me. I want to thank you for being my second mom and treating me as such. Love always Willie

I loved how she shined on her birthday. I was so honored to know her and when I found out that she had exactly the same name as my mom, it was shocking, but a good shock. I told her on her day that she is my second mom. She will be missed but never forgotten,  because she will always be in our hearts.  

Words can not even begin to describe what you mean to me. I miss you so much. You never left my side no matter what and I am so thankful for that. I am so grateful for all the memories I have with you over the years and will cherish them even more now that your in heaven. I love you grandma give grandpa a hug for us

I had no idea how strong and resilient you were! You fought against all adversities. There is a lot to be said about someone like you. You were a ray of sunshine and hope to everyone that met you, and to everyone around you!  Although we are all feeling this huge gaping hole in our hearts, we are happy that you are no longer in pain and that you can finally rest alongside Jay.  Your grandchildren and great grandchildren are truly blessed to have met you. I feel totally blessed to have met you! I will never ever forget you!

My 41st Birthday. Mom thank you for always putting a smile on my face and making sure that you called me for every birthday and special event, even while battling cancer. 

My first love!! Mom what can I say. You've shown me what unconditional love is. You've shown me how to raise a family with love and respect. Growing up, while Dad worked, you held down everything else Mom, with grace and ease. You helped me with my homework, read to me at night, and kissed my womb when I was hurt. You comforted me when I cried and wiped my tears and held me tighter. You were there on every field trip I had. You were there at every major event that occurred in my life. You were there to cover for me when I did something wrong and didn't want me to get into trouble with Dad. You showed me the path of the ways to raise a family correctly. You raised your kids, your grandkids and great grandkids. We all have a piece of you which molded us to be the individuals we are today. 

Mom as life went on and in the later years, you stood by my side during my good and bad decisions. During my difficult battles in life and through my triumphs and accomplishments. As you became sick, you would tell me that I didn't have to do certain things for you, but Mom you did everything for me and more for Julius when he came along. I wish I could have done more. I wish I could have said more. Even with your battle with this stupid cancer, you made sure that the family is good, because that was your character. But Mom you are now resting now in no more pain and suffering. I wish I could of done more to help you in your fight Mom.

Thank you Mom. Thank you for the countless memories, thank you for your compassion, your love, your effort, for never giving up on me and always believing in me. I thank the good lord for choosing you as my mom and I thank you for all the years full of love. You will always be my first love and the queen of my heart. Mom I love you and will dearly miss you!!

Your accomplishments were many, you leave us a legacy of Three beautiful Children, Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

This was the first time as an adult I was able to treat my grandma out to breakfast. It meant a lot to me to do so because we had just lost my grandpa and me and her had not spent alone time in years. I will forever cherish and hold closely the memories I have with her and all the lessons she has taught me in life. Being my second mother through the good and bad and even when I was not deserving of it. Thank you for showing me how to be a wife and take care of a household & look beautiful doing it. I will continue to keep mommy company and keep your corner of the sectional nice and warm. We love you grandma and you will be missed so much!

My beautiful Madrina. You are truly the definition of strength, courage and determination. I am blessed that always loved me like one of your own, my extended mom. Your laugh, smile, and feistiness will be greatly missed. My heart aches that you are no longer with us here, BUT I know youre with my mom and everyone before you.
