Pasquale Alfredo D'Addio

Our beloved father passed peacefully and lovingly surrounded by his children at age 94. Pat D’Addio was a devoted father to Lisa, Larry and loving daughter-in-law Conchita D’Addio. He was grandfather to Justine, Tami, Kirsten, and Lawrence-Anthony D’Addio along with his partner Sheri Robbins, and great grandfather to precious Sullivan D’Addio. Pat was the rock of the family and will be sorely missed but always remembered as a generous and caring father figure.

Pat’s parents, Felipe and Nunzia, immigrated separately from Italy in the early 1900s. They met, married and settled in the Bronx, NY. Pat grew up there with his siblings, Rose and Al, and eventually raised his own children in the Bronx. He enlisted in the Navy and served on a destroyer in the Pacific, receiving three medals. He was the first in his family to graduate college, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 1949.

Pat enjoyed a long and successful career in the construction industry and was promoted to Vice President of Estimating and Special Projects for Tishman Construction Corporation of Florida in 1986. Pat was very proud of the projects he contributed to; Disney’s EPCOT Center, the Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Resorts, Spaceship Earth Pavilion and the Sonesta Beach Resort renovation in Bermuda were pinnacles of his professional life.

Pat loved working but enjoyed fishing just as much. He made many friends and was always there to mentor or lend a helping hand to others. He loved unconditionally and will remain in our hearts forever.
