

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Edwin Fields, at age 76, originally from Central Square, New York. Paul entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. Paul was born in Syracuse, New York on March 28th, 1948 to Eunice and Harvey and became an amazing runner, basketball coach, softball player/coach, mechanic and leader . Paul has proudly worked with Chrysler Motors in Syracuse, Oakes Towing, Veterans Administration in Syracuse, New Horizons Title Inc. and Daytona State College.
Paul was beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Paul was known for loving the family near and far unconditionally. Paul touched many lives with one liners, making others laugh and being a true Gentlemen. Paul is an honorable proud man.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother and father, Eunice and Harvey, and his brothers Kenny and Harvey. Paul is survived by his wife Iko (Shizuko Fields), his daughters Maryann and Debra, his brother Michael (Veronica), brother in laws, his only granddaughter Marisa, and many nieces and nephews. Paul is blessed to have many dear friends, some since high school.
A military service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to your local Alcohols Anonymous or Florida Cancer Center in Daytona Beach.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and support they received during this difficult time.
