Paul C. Schmiedeberg, age 65, of DeLand, FL passed away on March 8, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Paul loved to fish, work in the yard and shoot the breeze with his friends. His real passion was his truck, which he cared for with great pride.
Paul leaves behind his Mother Anne Schmiedeberg of Niceville fl.sisters, Pegi (Jim) Kaufman of Boca Raton, FL, Patti (Tony) McGinnity of Niceville, FL, Phyllis Schmiedeberg (Scott Sherman) of Rye, NY and Penny Schmiedeberg (Jeff Hare) of Ludlow, VT and a brother, Peter (Nan) Schmiedeberg of Port St. Lucie, FL. Paul is also survived by his very close friend, Susan Kase.
Friends will be received at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City on Tuesday, March 16th from 11 am – 12:30 pm, where a Celebration of Life Service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
