MY DADDY MY HERO

Like my sister said another chapter of my life is closed.  I never thought this day would come to soon daddy.  A part of me died when I lost you and my life will never be the same without you.  You were an exceptional husband, father and papito not to mention an exceptional son, father-in-law and brother.  You were always there to help when we all needed it, no questions asked.  You were the most noble person I have ever known.  I would always call you when I had a question or a doubt, even when something was bothering me you would be the one I would run to for advice, you were my personal counselor.  Not a day would go by without seeing you or talking to you.  Sometimes I would call you so much just to talk and you would say Carrajo tanto que llamas no te cansas de llamar(but of course joking around) oh and remember when anyone would sneezed instead of saying salud you would say sape. One day I remember I sneezed and my daddy said sape and I said gracias and he said no se dise gracias se dice meow. so at times when he would sneeze I would say to him sape and he would say meow.   Know all I have left is all the beautiful memories you have left behind.  I miss you imensly daddy and you will be forever in my heart.

These memories are from my children Brian and Brianna,

They both love their papito so very much.  Everyday they would tell me mommy are we going to papito and mamitas house, if iIwould say no they would start crying so everyday we were there visiting. Every night before bedtime I had to call my dad because Brianna and Brian had to say goodnight to him and tell him they love him.  When we were in my parents house at dinner time both Brian and Brianna sat on my dad's laps and ate from his plate of food.  I used to love seening how Brian would sit in the couch and lean on his papito to watch t.v. no one else could sit in that space but papito. Brianna would wake up in the middle of the night crying and saying papito, papito.  Brianna and Brian would shower him with kisses and hugs they just adored him so much. Now all I hear from them is yo quiero mucho a papito or I miss papito.  The other day I was driving and Brian and Brianna was with me and Brian said papito esta en el cielo con papi dios I said yes he is and he said that all we had to do was push a button in the car and it will turn into an airplane and we will fly to the sky so that we could go see papito!  how I wish this was true. They constantly takes their papitos picture and kisses him and says yo quiero mucho a papito.

Another chapter of my life is closed.  Saying goodbye to my dad.  He leaves me with great memories of him but also with a huge empty space in my heart that no one can ever fill.  My heart goes out to my mom.  She's been with my dad inseparable for 57 years and doesn't know how to function without him.  My sister is so sentimental and seems fragile.  My brother looks strong on the outside but is devastated and besides himself on the inside.  My dad helped my brother, sister and I each in his own way in our time of need.  Always there unconditional no matter what.  H loved all his grandchildren with all his heart and soul.  They were all special to him.  My daddy was an exceptional husband, dad and papito.  We will all miss his words of wisdom and advice in our times of turmoil.  Never did I think he would be called to Gods home so soon.  I miss him more than words could ever say.  He was absolutely an extraordinary person in all aspects.  We are all honored to be called his childrens and grateful to have had him in our lifes all these years.  And for our childrens to have had such a loving, giving, understanding and remarkable papito in their lifes.  They are missing him dearly too.  My Dad was truly a huge blessing to us and our childrens as well.

Papito,

I know I wasn't around much the past few years, but I always thought of you and mamita and everyone down there.  I'm going to miss you so much papito.  I was and still will be you nino bonito and mijito, like you always called me.  You're always goint to be in my heart.  Watch over everyone for me papito especially mamita, she misses you more than anything she loves you so much.  Just like I miss playing soccer with you and you running circles around me each time, but, I loved it.   I'll see you some day papito.  I love you so much and miss you the same.

P.S. Tell my daddy I miss him and love him also.  I pray that both of you will protect me and that both of you will be proud of me because that is very important to me,  I am trying my very hardest to do all good for both of you to be proud of me.

EL LEGADO DE PEDRO ARMANDO GANDO

Me paro aqui hoy con mucha tristesa pero a la misma vez allegre y orgulloso de poder desir unas palabras de un hombre excepcional un hombre que dio su vida como un sacrificio vivo para que mi mami, mis hermanas, y yo no los falte nada especialmente el amor de un padre, ese hombre se llama Pedro Gando.   Nacio en el 1936 del 20 de Julio y paso a la vida eternal en el 2012 del 1 de Agosto pero eso no es todo lo que quiero que se acuerden de el si no que mantengan en sus corazones el Legado que el dejo aqui en la tierra como hombre de fe, como esposo, como padre y como deportista.  Como hombre de fe: un hombre de oracion, Como Esposo: Dio su vida para que mi mami sea feliz, Como Padre: que puedo decir mi HEROE, Como deportista: el mejor punter derecho de tu tiempo, apoddado CANBERRA por su rapides en la cancha, jugo el futbol con humilda y por amor al deporte.  Estoy seguro que mi viejo vivio una vida sin arrepentimientos y se que cuando le entrego este curriculum vitae a papa dios el esquchara las palabras que yo tanto anelo esquchar un dia: BIEN HECHO SIERVO BUENO Y FIEL AHORA ENTRA EN EL GOZO DE LA CASA DE TU SENOR.  Se que nunca podre llenar tus zapatos Papi porque eran tullos hecho por un proposito por Papa Dios, Pero si se que tratare de vivir tu ejemplo para his hijas y todo los que me rodean para que tu Legado viva por siempre.  Mi viejo te estrano imensamente pero se que es por un corto tiempo nomas, hast que nos veremos cara a cara una ves mas hunto a nuestro Dios Todopoderoso.  Siga luchando por nuestras Almas halla en el Cielo y tate por seguro que estaremos orando por ti aquie en la tierra.

Papito, I miss you so much!! You were the best papito ever! You were always there for me when I needed you! I'm left with just memories of when you picked me up from middle school and my first 2 years of high school, when you helped me with my math homework in middle school because you loved it and knew it all. I'm also going to miss hearing you wistle your favorite songs in the house and also singing them, you had such an amazing voice. Papito you will always be remembered for your kindness and your loving ways! I miss you more and more each day! I am so sad that you had to leave me so soon, but I know you are in a better place with God and you are happy and at peace! R.I.P mi papito lindo! <3

Isabella is to little to write. But I will share this information for her. On my way home my little princess starts crying. I stopped and ask her what's wrong, she said I miss papito and luv him. That really touched me so much to know that my 3 year old could come out and say that. I will always miss you. Love Isabella Marie Gando.....

My heart hurts so much. I feel lost, worry, sad, hurt, angry. BUT I know that my wonderful Father in Law is in a wonderful place called HEAVEN. I miss him so much already. I remember calling him when I wasn't feeling good or the girls not feeling good. My Dr. Gando always knew the answers, always knew how to make us feel better. He always made me laugh, he was my private doctor. LOL. And know I have no one to call, my papito lindo. Luv u so much and miss you so much. :(

Tio you were by far a Bag of nails never did u let anything Phase you ill never forget your will power and love you had for the family i just wanted you to know you are an insperation to me. i love you and will never ever ever forget you love you tio R.I.P

Tio pedro was a very talented person, so kind hearted, caring, intelligent, and mindful of others. He will forever be in our hearts. I love him very much!
