Mr. Pedro Zayas, 80, of Orange City passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Pedro was a machinist for the Ford Motor Company. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ana M., and brothers, Angel and Antonio. He is survived by his three sons, Kenneth (Patricia), Kevin, and Alvin; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexia, Ethan, and Kyle; eight brothers and sisters, Tomas, Nelida, Fransisca, Andrea, Carmella, Carmen Milagro, Domingo and Maria and many nieces and nephews. After retirement, he spent a lot of time in his garden tending to the fruits and vegetables he grew.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 26th from 5 pm until 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL. PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12 pm Wednesday, November 27th with Father Frank Cerio officiating. Burial will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
