Rafael D. Pagan Santiago, age 79, of Deltona, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on December 28, 1945. He received a Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico. Rafael married Carmen R. Del Valle on April 11, 1985.
Rafael had a career in industry development for promo export and Banco de Desarrollo of Puerto Rico. He served in the Puerto Rican Army National Guard for 27 years. He had a passion for golf and horse racing.
Rafael is survived by his wife, Carmen; children, Gabriel, Roxana, Johana, and Tammy; grandchildren, Josadac, Jenniffer, Kathy, Tamara, Amanda, Leonardo, Lorenzo, Sebastian, and Ariana; great-grandchildren, Calvin, Leila, Roberto, Marina, and Christopher; and his honorary sons, Harry J. Rodriguez Del Valle and Kristian Rodriguez.
A gathering of family and friends for Rafael will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763, followed by a funeral service with military honors from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
