Rafael A Rodriguez (Alvarez)

Rafael A. Rodriguez II, age 80, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Monastery Oaks Assisted Living in Orange City, Florida where he resided after he suffered a stroke in April of 2013. Rafael was an electrician who retired and began to do what he loved the most, gardening, He enjoyed working on computers and electronic devices, including TV's and had a passion for flying Remote Control Helicopters.

Rafael was the loving husband of 52 years of the late Marina E. Rodriguez (Font).

He is survived by 3 sons, Ricardo C. Rodriguez, Rafael (Ralph) A. Rodriguez III and Jaime M. (James) Rodriguez and a daughter, Francisca (Frances) D. Perez; a brother, Felix Alvarez; 14 grandchildren, Cynthia, Megan, Amanda, Sarah, Rafael (Ralphie) IV, Claire Rodriguez, Marina K. Perez, Jose F. Perez II (Paquito) Cristal Schorn, Michael Rodriguez (deceased) Jimmy Rodriquez, Emilia Rodriguez, Jayden and Alexander Gerard, and 3 great-grandchildren, Makayla, Mallory and Jase.

Friends will be received at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home,1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL PH:386-775-4260 on Thursday, Sept 19th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Sept 20th at 12 noon at the funeral home with Chaplain David Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
