Mrs. Torres was born on May 8, 1921 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Narciso Ferrer and Manuela Torres. She was united in marriage to the late Arcilio Torres, who preceded her in death. She retired as a seamstress after 43 years of service. She loved sewing.
She is survived by a son, Edwin Torres Ferrer; a daughter, Awilda Torres-Duque; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Josefa Ferrer-Torres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arcilio Torres and one son, Elvin Torres Ferrer.
Friends may call on Monday, April 29th from 6 - 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30th at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor David Cortes officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
