Robert Allen Parr

Deltona, FL: On August 3, 2016 Robert was reunited in heaven with his wife of 51 years, Jeanette. Robert passed peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Buffalo, NY on October 29, 1932. He served on the Buffalo Police Force for 25 years, where he started and trained the K-9 Corps. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Deltona where he enjoyed fishing, being an usher at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, a member of the Eagles and the Moose. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Gregory) Gancarz; son Robert G. (Renee) Parr; 4 grandchildren, Michelle (Robert) Weiglein, Kevin (Heather) Gancarz, Erica (Jay) Ward and Robert Anthony Parr; 4 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth & Maxwell Weiglein and Madison & Olivia Ward.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday August 7th 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Monday August 8th 10 AM. Entombment will follow services in Deltona Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
