Robert S Poole

Bob was born on March 13, 1936 in Bradford, PA to George and Augusta Poole. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1954 and graduated from Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY in 1957. On June 18, 1960, he married Theresa Josephine Tresco. Bob served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1964.

Bob had a career as a sales representative for Sherwin-Williams Co., Weber Dental Mfg. Co., Coastal Dynamics Corp., Pascel Co., Star Dental Mfg. Co., and Professional Sales Associates. He collected many tales from his time in the profession and loved to open a good story with the statement “this is a true story….” He had a passion for golf, though his skill set in the sport left something to be desired. Bob will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his loving nature and sense of humor.

Bob was survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Theresa Poole; along with two children, Robert T. Poole of DeBary, Florida and Linda M. Skipper of Orlando, Florida; and two grandchildren, Robert E. Poole and Sierra Poole.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763. In tribute to his memory, we will gather for food and drink and share “true stories” about Bob.
