Roderick Lorenzo Murphy, 69, passed away on September 24, 2015 in Orange City, Florida.
Rod was married to his wife Barbara for 49 years she predeceased him in August of 2014
Rod Grew up in Woburn Massachusetts and in high school began his affection with Cars and building “hot rods”
He moved to Deltona Florida in the early 90’s and loved every minute of it, he was especially happy with being able to have a car in progress all year long.
He was a truck driver by trade and really loved being in his big rig and his cross country trips.
He was loved by all, and in every setting would have a captured audience with his many stories and was the master of the one liner.
He loved his 50’s tunes, cruising with Mom.
Rod is survived by his daughter, Christine his sons Rod Jr, Michael and his daughter in law Brenda, His Sister Rita Senkowski and brothers Richard Murphy and Daniel Murphy.
There are many grandchildren, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
