Hard to write about a dear friend who isn’t with us any longer…hope the family knows how much Dads (and Moms) friendship meant…Dad will be remembered as one who enjoyed a good laugh always…we were friends (and family) in a group that renewed the togetherness annually in so many fun ways…this group will always have a special bond…Ron, you will be missed…🧡🐊💙

Uncle Ron, will always have a very special place in my heart. He taught me how to fish when I was little and never acted irritated when I called him outside every 10 minutes to un hook every little brim fish I caught. Sometimes he was a man a few words, but I always found it to be calming. There were quite a few times when I needed some fresh air outside and he would be outside too. I never needed to say anything, or try to drum up conversation to fill an awkward silence. When he did speak though, I always made sure to be listening. One summer, I listened to intently and he decided to tell me a story that scared me for summers to come. It involved a pet lizard he let loose in the attic and had been living up there for years and all the noises I heard in the house, I truly believed was this gigantic lizard. It scared me half to death, but I never let him know that. However I think he knew anyway, I never had a good poker face, not then and not now. I love you Uncle Ron and I will miss you. Thanks for the memories they will keep you alive in my heart for years and years.

Ron Harman and the memories I will carry with me as time goes on..,
My sister Cathy or as we in our family knew her as Billie married Ron Harman many years ago. They formed a loving relationsihip and built a life together. Ron made my sister happy and I will always remember how they built their lives together and built a family in the process.
I will always remember Ron for the hardwork, and dedication he showed in his job. Ron started in the stockroom at a Morrions Cafeteria. Ron worked hard and he earned an executive position with the company. That was impressive at the time, impressive today and wlll be impressive to me as long as I am here. Self-made men have always impressed me. Ron was that kind of man.
Ron was calm and soft spoken and but when he spoke of his family his face would beam with pride and his smile told me how much he loved his children.
So these are a few of the things that define Ron C. Harman in my eyes. Ron made our family better and stronger by just being himself. A good man down but certainly he will always be remembered by friends, family and certainly by me.
I do have somethiing want to share as it has helped my deal with the loss of special people in my life. I hope it helps others who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

Revalations 21 (4)- He will wipe every tear from his eyes, there will be no more deaths, or mourning or crying, or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

Ron was a good and kind man. I’ll never forget the Christmas when he invited me and my nieces over to see his stunning Christmas display. The children still remember that and Mr. Harmon.
Ron was well loved on Stone Island.
Warm regards and our condolences.
