Rosa Knight McNeil Mingo

Our mother Rosa Knight Mingo was born to two loving parents Frank Sr. Climmie Knight in Live Oak Florida. She attended Goldsboro Elementary School and also Crooms Academy High School in Sanford Florida. She worked in the field of agriculture. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, a very dear friend to alot of people. We remember the time when she was asked what name would you like our kids to call you. She didn't like the name grandma; she said call me Big Momma. I know that she will be greatly missed by many. This little bit that we've said doesn't even begin to visualize the effects that our Big momma has and still has on the lives of everyone who knew her met her and loved her each and every day of these 91 years we had her here with us, Last but not least hear her voice as she would share her favorite scripture John 14:1-3 comfort you during this time 😍😍😍😘 The Family.

She is survived by her Brothers: Frank Johnnie Robert (Wessie Lee) Knight; Children,Rosa Mae(preceded in death)- Thomas James Rouse, James Curtis (preceded in death) kids- Curtis, Monica, Darrel James Hardy, James, Shawnda, Martha , Shayla, Travis, Angie, Louis James (April) - Reginald, Curtis, Myron, Mary - Robert, James, and Tasha, Gladys- Michelle, Bobbie Gail (preceded in death)- Willie (D), Tanya, Rosa, Shon, Lewis(D), Adrian, Jonathan, Victoria and a host of great grands nieces nephews family and friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, April 20 from 1-2 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 2PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. Arrangements entrusted to Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, Florida 32763.
