

Ruby was united in marriage to Robert Hupp, and together they shared 69 devoted years of marriage, building a home filled with love, hard work, and tradition.
She was a proud and loving mother to two daughters, Diana Griffith and Jodi Hupp. Her legacy continues through her three cherished grandchildren, Carrie Olinik, Todd Griffith, and Mindy Bishop, as well as eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.
Ruby graduated from Antioch High School in Ohio and later attended two years of schooling to become a hairstylist. She owned and operated her own beauty shop for 25 years, serving her community with dedication and care.
A woman of deep faith, Ruby was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, where she taught third- and fourth-grade Bible classes for many years, touching countless young lives with her kindness and commitment.
She spent many years gardening and preserving the fruits of her labor by canning fruits and vegetables. Ruby was well known for making jam, applesauce, apple butter, and even homemade ice cream, traditions that will live on in the hearts of her family.
Ruby Hupp will be remembered for her strong faith, loving spirit, and the enduring legacy she leaves through generations of family and the lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on January 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL, 32763.
The funeral service will follow on the same day at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A committal service will take place immediately after the funeral service, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home.
