Russell Neil Glaspie, 71, of Daytona Beach died November 6, 2015 in Seaside Health & Rehabilitation. Russell was born on June 17, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Russell and Geraldine Glaspie. He served our country as a member of the US Army in Vietnam. Russell worked many years in the advertising industry. He enjoyed dancing, music and collecting pens.
Russell leaves behind to honor his memory his children; son Bobby Wirth, daughters Kimberly Hovanes, Holly Glaspie, and Debbie Lathrop, grandchildren Brooke Donnelly, Bobby Hovanes, Zak Hovanes, Jacob Hovanes, Miranda Coe, and Nicholas Lathrop, sister Sue Purrenhage, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Rich Glaspie.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday November 11, 2015 3 PM at Seaside Health and Rehabilitation Center, 324 Wilder Boulevard, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. (386) 252-2600
