Sam and his wife moved to Deltona from Lake Zurich, IL 22 years ago. He was a retired locomotive engineer for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad for over 38 years and served as an usher for St. Ann’s Catholic Church in DeBary for 13 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Jo (Midge), three sons, William (Theresa) Hoeksema, Gregg (Karen) Passafiume and Garry Passafiume; one daughter, Terri (Thomas) Weintz, brothers; Keith (Diane) Passafiume, William (Joan) Passafiume also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends are being received on Friday, Jan 28th at St Ann’s Catholic Church in DeBary from 10 am – 11:30 am, where a Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City or St. Ann’s Catholic Church in DeBary.
