

Mr. Palermo was born on March 5, 1916 in Westfield, New York, the son of Anthony and Josephine Garafalo Palermo. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera in 2003. Sam served his country during World War II in the U.S. Air Force . He worked for GE-Locomotive Division as a quality control engineer for over 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona.
He is survived by his children, Stephen Palermo, Barbara Rosselle, Mary Beth Crosbie and Nancy Amadore; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, May 28th from noon till 1:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
