Scott A Guthrie was born on September 24,1963 to Joan S Fudge and James A Guthrie (preceded in death) in South Carolina. Scott peacefully passed away in his home in Debary, Fl on January 08, 2024 with his loving wife by his side. Scott is survived by his beautiful wife Donna M Lindsey-Guthrie, aunt Faye Guthrie, son Jason A Guthrie, his wife Sarah Guthrie, daughters Nicole Fitzgerald and KerriAnne Fitzgerald, grandchildren Bailey Guthrie, Mason Guthrie, Arika Kolar and her husband John Kolar, Tianna Fitzgerald and her wife Javelin Fitzgerald, Aniyah Baker, great grandchildren Maverick Kolar and Everleigh Kolar, fur baby Zoey, as well as many friends and family who loved and cherished him.
Scott was a loud and rambunctious soul. He had love for music and enjoyed singing karaoke often, playing corn hole, pool and darts. He had a passion for laughter as well as pouring his heart and soul into his brotherhood of friends he created through the years. He created traditions within his family and friends that morphed into a kaleidoscope of memories, painting a man whose very existence shaped the lives of so many. Those memories will stand the test of time. His life was one of struggle, strength and perseverance. He himself showed, without a shadow of a doubt, that though humanity is flawed, it is kind, generous and above all else, about friends and family. A man who lived life on his own terms... A man that once quoted Don't ever doubt or be troubled in your in heart, I believe in the Man. In the blink of an eye, he was standing before his father, standing erect and boldly asking, "How'd I do boss? The response "You did fine my son. We are so very glad you are home." He will be sorely missed by so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange, FI 32129. This facility has provided amazing care to Scott over the last 2 years.
