Scott Carl Ronning was called home to Jesus on September 14, 2012. He leaves behind family and friends that will never be able to fill the void he has left in their hearts. He will be missed by his parents, Bruce and Bonnie Ronning, his siblings, Bruce Jr. and Donna Ronning, Michele and Dean Goble and Tracey Velazquez, along with many nieces and nephews. Most of all, Scott leaves the part of his life that held his whole heart and soul and brought him unspeakable joy, his five year old son Erik. With the help of his mommy, Valerie Kalnins Ronning, Erik will carry the legacy of his father into the future. Scott was a loyal friend, a devoted brother and beloved son. We will carry his memory with us until we are called home to reunite with him. Please go to YouTube and look up Who am I

To Scott's family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It's been many years since I last saw him but have the fondest of memories of Scott.

My thoughts are with you all.

I met Scott on one of his first projects in Atl, Ga. I landed my helicopter at the project and dusted up his Mercedes. He was not mad at the mess I made, only to laugh at the event. He was fun to work with and had a good humor about him. Blessings to his family during this time of loss and to the future. Valerie take good care of Erik, I am so very sorry for your loss.

So deeply saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I will never forget the "Lion Yacht" days & the fun times we had. I always admired his strength, persaverence & character. He's someone that I've always thought about thru the years.. I will always hold all the wonderful memories close to my heart. Along with my entire family who all loved & thought the world of him, we're so very sorry.

Scott and Family, My family are deeply saddened by the tragic event that took place that Friday evening. I wish I could have met you before God called you to heaven. I also wish that I could have done more to save you from leaving your loved ones behind. I'm sure that they will always have you in thier hearts forever. Now that you're an angel, I'm sure that you will help guide them from above. My heart was broken the moment I found out that you had passed. I know that you are now in a better place and I pray that God gives your family and loved ones the strength to carry on with you now watching from above.

THERE IS A BETTER PLACE

There is a bettera better place that i have never seen
beyond this world that we know
A place I've heard only heard heard of but someday hope to go
Its not on any map, there are no roads to take me there
But it is a place of perfect peace where hearts are free of care
And though I know some will be saddened when i leave
One day we will meet again That's what i believe
When it is time to travel there, I think I'll wear a smile
I will say god-bye to the ones I have loved but only for a while
Knowing there are others who have traveled therealone,
Who cannot wait to greet me and to whisper "welcome home"

So bruce and Bonnie
May you find peace ion the thought
That your Scotty was met at the doors
Of the Kindom by his grandparents
who whispered "welcome Home"

With our deepest sympathy
David and Mary Miller

Brother, you did things in life others could only dream of, and lived more in your short time here than most could do in two lifetimes. It is a cliche, that the candle that burns the brightest, burns the fastest. In your case it's true. You accepted me unconditionally into the family and treated me like I grew up with you. I always appreciated that. You epitomized the phrase Carpe Diem. We that are left behind will always remember to seize the day and live life with the zest and sense of adventure that you had.

I only knew of Scott for a short time through work. He was very client-oriented, responsive, helpful, and intelligent. He was a pleasure to work with. I felt I could trust him to get things done - correctly. My heart and prayers are with his friends and family. God Bless.
