Sherman Kenneth Weaver, 85, of Orange City, Florida passed away on January 13, 2016. Sherman was born on May 4, 1930 in State College, Pennsylvania to Floyd and Rosella Weaver. In 1990, he and the love of his life, Doris Weaver, moved down to the Central Florida area. In his younger years Sherman enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid bowler and loved helping out his church in any way he could. Sherman was preceded in death by his wife Doris, his parents Floyd and Rosella, his son Ronald Weaver and four brothers. He leaves behind his daughter Robin (Tim) Shank and grandchildren Danielle (Shane) Larson, Samantha Shank, and Joel Shank. He also leaves behind his brother Barry Weaver, sisters Sandra Lyle, Sally Laird and Beverly McClarren, many nieces and nephews along with many friends who will miss him dearly. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the First Congregational Church of Orange City. A memorial service will begin at 2:30 pm.
