Shirley was born on December 31, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Mildred M. Guida, and late Clarence H. Garrison.
Shirley worked as a cosmetologist and was an active choir member. She even traveled to Rome in May 1999 with the church choir to sing for Pope John Paul II.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gerald Garrison of La Mesa, CA; and sister Claire Oliver of San Diego, CA.
She is survived by her daughter, Karyn Dickson (fiance James Beaudet) of Orange City, FL.
A service will be held for Shirley on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Prince of Peace Church, Ormond Beach, FL.
