Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Shirley built a career in retail management. Following her retirement, she generously volunteered her time at the local library. She found great joy in reading books and working on jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Weibel; her parents, Ann and Robert Atkinson; her sister, Beverly Warfle; and her brothers, Robert Atkinson, Donald Atkinson, and Leonard Atkinson.
Shirley is survived by three nieces and two nephews, who will miss her dearly.
Interment will take place at Deltona Memorial Gardens on March 25th at 10:00 a.m. In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held.
