Steven Melendez

Mr. Melendez was born on August 18, 1981 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, the son of Jose D. Melendez and Nelly Robledo. He lived in Bronx, NY as a child before moving to Altamonte Springs, Florida. He moved between Florida and Puerto Rico until he went to Chicago, where he really began to focus on his craft as a Chef. He pursued his career as a Chef, leading him to Orlando, Florida to work at the Yard House. He was into fitness, was an incredible Uncle, the family joker, Call of Duty Gamer, and loved movies and music. Every place he has ever been, he had made sure to leave his mark by touching the souls of every person he met. He was a magnet that brought people together and to this day, he continues to be that magnet. During his moves, he made it a priority to spend as much time as possible with his mother, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. We will always remember you for your love and great sense of humor. Thank you for the memories.

He is survived by his mother, Nelly Robledo Melendez; three brothers, Angel Luis Rivera, Joel Melendez and Ivan Jose Melendez; two nieces, Emma Camille Melendez and Lexyana Melendez and four nephews, Christian Alexis Melendez, Joseph David Melendez, Julian Melendez and Angel Rivera, Jr.
