Born on May 26, 1962, in the borough of the Bronx, New York City, Teri graduated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and attended Buffalo State College, now known as Buffalo State University in Buffalo, New York. It was there that Teri became a most avid Buffalo Bills Fan, to which she gave her sports loyalty.
Multi-talented, Teri brilliantly played the clarinet, was a patron of the arts, and the Metropolitan Opera. She was known to go to New York for one evening just to attend a Broadway play and would visit museums no matter where they were located either here in the United States or internationally. A world traveler, a lover of books, and a photographer extraordinaire, she was a true example of a Renaissance person.
She most recently held a position as Director of Information Technology with the Project Management Office, for Wyndham now known as Travel +Leisure. She also served as a Project Manager for AAA Travel Services and as a para-legal she played a major role in the Texaco Bankruptcy Litigation. True to form, she demonstrated her flare as a citizen of the world, when she worked as a Camp Counselor at the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee Summer Camp, in Astoria, New York.
Teri is survived by her precious dog Sophia, her father John Anthony Rosa, her brother Manuel A. Rosa, and her sisters Vivian Carmen Rosa, and SallyAnn Rodriguez as well as a loving family of nieces and nephews of whom she considered her children and the loves of her life, and a long list of friends who considered her a part of their families.
We will all miss her dearly.
