Thomas A. Gineo Sr, age 94 passed away on Jan 15, 2015. Thomas was the husband of 53 years to the late Rachel Gineo. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Elaine Sprague; 2 brothers, Salvatore and Alfred Gineo; Sister Minnie Hymes; two grandchildren, Eric and Amy; six great- grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Austin, Anthony, Kayla, Justin and Steven. He was predeceased by his loving son, Thomas Gineo, Jr., as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Thomas was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona, VFW Post # 8093 in DeBary, Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge, Eagles and was Past President of the Sons of Italy in Deltona. Friends will be received on Sunday, January 18th from 4 – 9 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 19th at 10 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona. Burial will immediately follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
