Victor was preceded in death by his son Victor Garcia, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; Daughter: Yolanda Garcia; sons: Alfredo, Robert, Raul and Richard; Many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and was one of 24 brothers and sisters. Victor came to New York in 1945 and worked as a Bellhop for The Astor Hotel. Soon after that he began working at The Bronx Community College as a Maintenance Supervisor. While there he studied and passed the High Pressure Power Plant Technician test. Upon passing the test he was promoted to High Pressure Plan Technician Supervisor. He retired from this career in 1996 and decided to put up new roots in the city of Deltona, Volusia County, Florida. There he built his home with his wife by his side. He will be dearly missed by all whom loved him.
