Victoria Ruiz Arroyo

Mrs. Victoria Arroyo, age 88, of Dublin Road, Deltona died November 18, 2010 at her home.

Mrs. Arroyo was born on March 23, 1922 in Yauco, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Diego Ruiz and Aurelia Quinones. She was united in marriage to Generoso Arroyo 57 years ago. She was a seamstress in a textile factory for fifty years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona.

She is survived by her loving husband, Generoso; four sons, Jose Manuel, Gil Muniz, Diego Muniz and Luis Muniz; three daughters, Nydia Gallinari, Norma Arroyo and Olga Reyes; four grandsons, Robert Muniz, Hector Muniz, Rafael Colon III and Edgar J. Reyes; two granddaughters, Jasmin Reyes and Christina Gallinari; eight great-grandchildren, Michael Muniz, Jonathan Muniz, Christian Muniz, Xavier Muniz, Eric Reyes, Fantasia Muniz, Ashley Muniz and Breanna Reyes; two brothers, Diego Quinones and Joaquin Ruiz; and one sister, Irenez Vasquez. several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, PH: 386-775-4260 on Sunday, November 21st from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm with a Wake Service at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22nd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona with Father Raul Valdez officiating with burial to immediately follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
