Vincent “Ray” Rundgren, age 77, of Orange City, FL, formerly of Orlando, FL, was carried away by angels on June 13, 2019. He was born December 16, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Vincent and Otillia Rundgren.
Ray was involved with St. Ann’s Catholic Church as a Minister to the Sick and a Minister of Holy Eucharist.
He was also part of the Knights of Columbus.
Ray is a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Lucille Greenwald and Sophie Annala.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Katherine Rundgren; loving children, Stacey Santangelo (Dennis), Daniel Rundgren (Ieleen), and Robert Rundgren; beloved grandchild, Jacob Rundgren, and great-grandchild, Aubrey Rundgren; brother, Frank Rundgren of Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, DeBary. Burial with Military Honors will follow Mass at 3pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims.
