Mrs. Mearns was born on March 24, 1925 in Hoboken, New Jersey, the daughter of Charles and Lena Maschucci Paulillo. She was united in marriage to Robert Mearns, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2008. Ginny has joined her husband, Robert, to be together in the Kingdom of Heaven. She was a retail sales manager in a clothing store prior to her retirement. Her goodness, love and stories will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son, Robert Mearns, Jr. and a daughter, Leann Debolt; six grandchildren, Melissa Olhacher, Chad Debolt, Jennifer Denson, Jason Mearns, Todd Debolt and Shannon Bailey; and nine great-grandchildren ranging in age from 7 months to 20 years; a brother, Joseph Paulillo and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, May 1st from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
