He was born on December 1, 1955, in New Smyrna Beach, a son of the late Harold and Iona Hall McCall. Walter attended New Smyrna Beach High School. Walter was an avid outdoorsman: hunting, fishing, ATV riding, and camping.
Walter is survived by his wife, Susan Dupuis McCall; two sons, Donald (Laura) and Ryan McCall; a daughter, Lindsay (Allan) Stover; a brother Harold Jr. (Kat) McCall; two step-sons; Robbie (Jillena) and Jamie Alexander; 6 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Rose McCall, preceded Walter in death.
