William Gonzalez

He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on November 24, 1953. William graduated from Bullard Havens High School with a certification in Masonry.

William owned Gonzalez’s Grocery with his brother Edwin for nearly 30 years. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed gambling on football.

William was preceded in death by his parents; Francisco and Virginia; and brothers Heriberto Gonzalez, and Jose Gonzalez.

He was survived by his son, William Gonzalez Jr; brothers, Francisco Gonzalez Jr (wife, Migdalia Gonzalez), Wilfredo Gonzalez (wife, Carmen Gonzalez), Edwin Gonzalez (wife, Elizabeth Gonzalez), Richard Gonzalez (wife, Marylou Gonzalez) and David Gonzalez (wife, Virgen Gonzalez); and 10 nieces and 9 nephews who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 10:00 am at Funeraria Luz de Paz in Bridgeport, Connecticut with interment following at Mountain Grove Cemetery.
