Mr. Mills moved to Deltona from Jacksonville, Florida in 2015. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy as a draftsman and worked as an assistant high school football coach. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia. His hobbies included drawing and designing board games and watching football.
He is survived by his beloved life partner of 29 years Rhoda Rosario; his daughter Tamera Michelle Robinson; his son William Mills III; his grandchildren Dechavious Harris, Kiana Harris and Tashira Powell; his brother James Lately; and his sisters Donna Mills Holden and Linda Mills.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the afternoon at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in The Crane Room at the funeral home, Pastor Hugh Lackey officiating. Interment will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, Florida.
