Wilson Destor Sy

Wilson graduated from Malabon Municipal High School and dedicated much of his professional life to the culinary field. He worked in cooking services for Intercon Hotel and Advent Health in Florida, where he was known for his dedication and warm spirit.

On December 23, 1993, Wilson married the love of his life, Catherine Severa Fornoles Occiano Sy. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Wilson had a passion for cooking, singing, and dancing. He found happiness in bringing people together and sharing his talents with family and friends. His joyful personality and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine Severa Fornoles Occiano Sy; his son, Paul Williamson Occiano Sy; and his siblings, Nestor Sy, Susan Sy Purino, Bebot Sy, Bebe Sy, and Romy Sy.

Visitation will be held on May 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will take place afterward at Deltona Memorial Gardens.

Wilson’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
