Albert Angelo DeFrancesco Jr.

Albert DeFrancesco 65 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 19th 2025. Born in Hazelton PA to the late Margert and Albert DeFrancesco. Albert’s life was defined by his deep love for his family, his vibrant spirit, and his kind -hearted nature.

Albert is survived by his wife Carol DeFrancesco-Norris and his four beloved children: daughter Alicia Palmer and her husband John Palmer; son A.J. Mastruzzo; son Dante DeFrancesco and wife Arrieauna DeFrancecso; Lexi DeFrancesco and partner Devon Fedler. He also leaves behind two step sons Alex Sofras wife Paige Sofras. Andrew Sofras.

Albert was a proud grandfather to Lily, Walker and Bennett Mastruzzo. Nevah and Eleanor DeFrancesco, Paisley Rae Palmer, and Lorelei Sofras. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of two new grandchildren, Penelope Fedler, and Banks Sofras.

His love for his family extended beyond his human relatives to his loyal dogs, Fonzi and Tess who were always by his side. Albert’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him

A celebration of life will be held in Jacksonville at a later date.

Albert’s legacy of love, humor, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all those he touched , and whom had privilege of knowing him.
