

Mr. Alfredo Ramos Morga, aged 74, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on November 22, 1950, in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines, he was the beloved son of the late Paulina (Ramos) and Teofilo Morga. Alfredo proudly served in the United States Navy, where he was a dedicated and hard-working serviceman. During his tenure, he was awarded several Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Battle "E" Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment, and Meritorious Unit Commendation. He retired as an Electrician Mate, having spent nine years as a submarine repairman and another nine years as an electrical shop journeyman. He was also a retired federal civilian after completing ten years of service as a sheet metal worker with the Department of the Navy/Fleet Readiness Center Southeast.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Irene (De La Cruz) Morga, and his children, Andrew Morga and Stephanie Jordi. He was also a cherished grandfather to Noah and Sophia Jordi, brother to Ricardo (deceased), Gloria, and Dominador, uncle to Paula, Israel, and Kristen and was deeply loved by his family.
In his personal life, Alfredo was a handyman around the house, enjoyed yard maintenance and watching his favorite television shows. He enjoyed dining out and going to the movies. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, participated in their meetings and contributed to meal events by assisting with kitchen duties. Alfredo was a steady, hardworking man who cared deeply for his family. He showed his love through actions, and was always willing to help when someone needed him. He valued his routines, took responsibility seriously, and was someone his family could count on.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 7190 Highway 17 South, Fleming Island, Florida 32003 on Friday, December 19, 2025. Inurnment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery, located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 at 2:30 pm (Lane 2).
Mr. Alfredo Ramos Morga will be remembered as a dedicated husband and a caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a special bond with his grandchildren, especially his grandson. He was always willing to watch him, happily volunteered to pick him up, took him out for little adventures, or just spent the afternoon together. Those simple, everyday moments meant the world to him and to his family.
