Allenor Delores Craig

Allenor Delores Craig 83 passed away April 29, 2018. She was born December 17, 1934 in a log cabin on what is called the westside of Jacksonville now. She was the youngest daughter of Seth Allen Taylor and Lillian Isabella Hampton Taylor. She loved to tell stories about how it was when she was growing up out in the woods of north Florida. She drove a school bus for many years. Later, she was a security guard for a few security companies in Jacksonville before she retired.

Mrs. Craig is proceeded in death by both her parents, sisters Isabella, Lucille and Dorthey, her brothers Leslie Mancy and Darrell Stevens, her husband of 53 years Robert Craig Jr. and two infant grandsons.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her loving daughters; Mary Grace Stanley (Harry William) and Tina Fortenberry, Robert Craig and (Bonita) Michael Craig, Paul Craig, Margarette Anne Henderson (Bill), and Robin Joseph Smith (Stan). Seven Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 6 till 8 PM Friday May 4, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens RiverMead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, Florida 32073.

A funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Saturday May 5, 2018 at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 9401 Staples Mill Drive Jacksonville, Florida 32244.

Interment will be held 12:30 PM Monday May7, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, where Allenor will be reunited with her husband, Robert Craig Jr.
