

Anita is remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. She especially loved sewing and cooking delicious dinners for as many family and friends as she could fill her home and dining table. Anita and Ray spent many summers with their three grandchildren travelling in their motorhome building cherished memories recounted every time the grandchildren are together.
Anita was a devoted member of the Masonic Orders’ National Camping Travelers where she volunteered and served in many roles throughout her tenure and attended many state and national rallies.
Anita’s loyal support for her family will always be a foundational memory of her life.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Ray W. Johnson and her loving sister Constance (Connie) Barus. She is survived by her two sons Robert Dale and Steven Ray Johnson and their wives Jeannie and Debbie, three grandchildren (Lucy Carriere, Thomas Johnson and Robert Johnson), and six great grandchildren (Audrey, Bradley, Alice, Vivian, Raymond, & Samuel).
Anita will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many of her family and friends.
A visitation for Anita will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
