Anna Argene Walden, age 92, peacefully passed away June 14, 2014 in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Gatlif, Kentucky on December 16, 1921. She lived in Alcoa, Tennessee until January, 1999. She moved to Orange Park, Florida to be with her family. Mrs. Walden was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Walden, her two sons, Roger B. Walden and Eddie Kent Walden, and a granddaughter, Sara Beth Walden Sides. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Paula Kay Walden Lynch (Jim), granddaughter, Amy Layton (Philip) and six great grandchildren, Grant and Ryland Sides, Blake, Bailey, and Chloe Layton, and Michelle Lynch. She was called “Grand Mom: or “Mom” and she left many precious memories to be cherished. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” A graveside service will be Friday, June 20, 2104 at 11:00 A.M. at Sherwood Memory Gardens. 3176 Airport Hwy.
