Anthony G. Corrente, age 51 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on February 2, 2025. He was born to the late Gertrude A. (Lombardi) and Roger Corrente, Jr. in Providence, Rhode Island. Anthony completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and continued on with his Master's Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University. His love for community service was shown by being a teacher, vice principal and principal. Anthony enjoyed sports, he enjoyed watching The New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins. He was most proud being a family cheerleader for his nieces and nephews with their volleyball, football, softball and lacrosse. Anthony made his way to Florida over thirty years ago for better weather. He moved back to Rhode Island a few years ago to be with family but the Florida sunshine drew him back.
Anthony is survived by his loving brother Roger Corrente III (Susan) , niece Sophia, nephews Matthew and Nicholas and many relatives and life long friends.
