He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Floyd Snider; mother, Velna Lee Tate; father, Albert Lee Snider; 2 brothers: Gerald Snider and Kenneth Snider; brother-in-law, William Smith; and 2 sisters-in-law: Jean Snider and Janelle Snider.
Clarence was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He was married to the love of his life, Betty Floyd Snider for 54 years. He found great joy in hearing Betty sing. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. He was a self-made businessman who started several companies. He was President and CEO of U.S. Claims Service, Inc. and CEO of General Insurance Concepts, Inc. He was a member of Island View Baptist Church, now The Springs Church, for 44 years where he was treasurer for 26 years. He was a lifetime member of the Civitan Club International. His faith carried him through his life and he affected so many lives through his love of his Lord and Savior. We will see you again!
Mr. Snider is survived by his 2 daughters: Elizabeth Snider Brown (husband Kevin Thomas Brown) and Amy Snider (wife Rev. Kay Korpics); brother Albert G. Snider; 2 sisters: Mary Louise Carroll (husband, Dewey Carroll) and Mildred Smith; grandchildren: Anna Elizabeth Swanson (husband James Swanson), Amanda Leigh Brown, Caleb Kevin Brown, Alyssa Snider Stone (husband Jake Stone) and Luke Thomas Brown (wife Alexa Brown); Great Grandchildren: Kaleigh, Kinley, J.J., Judah, Jack, and Joy Swanson, Silas Stone and Mercy Brown; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, May 16, 2022 at The Springs Church-17 Campus, formerly Island View Baptist Church, 900 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow with military honors at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL.
