Courtney Charlotte Watts (Cotton) passed away on September 6, 2024, succumbing to Metastatic Melanoma Cancer. A 2001 graduate from Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, GA. Courtney enjoyed being with her friends and had a passion for cheerleading which started in Guantanamo Bay Cuba cheering on her sisters soccer team. Courtney strove to be successful and an excellent mother and was recognized by being awarded parent of the month from her sons school. Here favorite quote to her son Peyton was ‘I love you to the moon and back’. A loving mother and cherished sister and daughter Courtney is proceeded in passing by her PAPA William Buchanan, NANA Nadine Buchanan, Uncle Arthur (Zig) Zeigler and Aunt Ginger Zeigler. She is survived by her Son Peyton Moon, Mother Wendy Houdek, Step-Father John Houdek, Sisters Alexandra Cotton (wife Taylor), Bryana Cotton and Father David Cotton. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
