He graduated from Wofford College in 1966 where he met his future wife of 57 years, Cindy Archibald. They married in 1968 at Grace Episcopal Church, Orange Park, FL.
Buddy is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters Benham Bishop and Field Copeland, and his grandchildren Wesley and Austin Copeland, His brother Jim, and his family.
He served in the medical service branch of the United States Army in Alaska. Following his service in Alaska, he and his wife, Cindy, moved to Jacksonville Florida where he remained to serve in the Army Reserves and joined Huckins Yacht Corporation where he led a successful career of over 50 years.
Buddy’s memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24th at Grace Episcopal Church, Orange Park, Florida.
