Daniel Linden Fonvielle, a lifelong resident of Fleming Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026. He was born to the late Audrey and Earl Fonvielle and leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, family, and cherished memories.
Daniel was a man who found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved fishing, football, and music, with Lynyrd Skynyrd being his favorite musical group. Above all, Daniel had a deep commitment to serving others. He spent more than ten years in missionary work, sharing his time, compassion, and faith with those around him. His dedication to helping others was a meaningful part of who he was and a testament to the kindness he carried throughout his life.
Daniel’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Melinda Fonvielle; his daughters, Annie Fletcher (Tristian Fletcher) and Sara Frigillana (Pete Frigillana); his grandchildren, Riley Fonvielle, Caden Frigillana, and Avery Frigillana; and his brothers, Timothy Fonvielle (Dawn Fonvielle) and Carroll Fonvielle (Dianna Fonvielle).
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Fonvielle; his father, Earl Fonvielle; and his beloved grandchild, Kieran Frigillana.
Daniel will be remembered for his love of family, his devotion to his faith and service, his appreciation for music and the outdoors, and the many lives he touched along the way. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Florida 32073, on September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will follow after visitation at the same location.
Interment will take place at Peoria Cemetery, 142 Jefferson Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32065, immediately after services.
Family and friends are invited to gather together to remember Daniel, celebrate his life, and honor the lasting love and memories he leaves behind.
