I was so very sad to hear of Brother Meccas passing. I always thought he was one of the cool dads when I was growing up, even though I was always on my best behavior around him (I had to be because Debbie and I were “going out” when we were younger). He had a way to put me at ease with his sense great of humor and his hearty laugh. It is my hope that the Mecca family finds comfort and peace during this extremely hard time. When I am confronted with the passing of a loved one I have always taken comfort in the words of Cicero….. “The life of the dead is placed on the memories of the living. The love you gave in life keeps people alive beyond their time. Anyone who was given love will always live on in another's heart.” May Brother Meccas love continue to live in your heart as it will in mine.

I was fortunate enough to have worked alongside David for almost 24 years at Pegasus Technologies Inc. He was an extremely talented individual. I learned something new every time I asked for help from David. David used to call me "Dano" and it made me smile everytime. Very rarely did I ever see him get upset about anything, he was always positive, upbeat and calm about whatever had to be done. Dave will be missed greatly.
