

David Wesley Scott died on May 17, 2016, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on May 4, 1947. David is survived by his wife, Kathy Scott, his daughter, Sandy White and her husband Matthew White, his grandson, Anthony White, and many friends and other family members. He served in the United States Army and lived in Jacksonville his entire life. David loved fishing, especially with his grandson, and supported many local causes including volunteering with the St. Johns River Keeper. He taught Sunday School in his earlier years, as he loved children. David was an avid bowler and belonged to a wheelchair league for a number of years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church located in Jacksonville.
Memorial Services for David will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, FL 32073 with Pastor George Kratochvil officiating .
