

Donna June Goldy, age 74, entered eternal rest on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love and legacy she so beautifully created. She was born on April 10, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, to Donald Smith and Belva Osborne.
Donna dedicated her life to caring for others, serving faithfully as a Registered Nurse. She retired after 21 years of compassionate service at St. Vincent’s Hospital – Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, professionalism, and unwavering devotion to her patients.
On May 16, 1975, Donna married the love of her life, Stanley Goldy. Together, they shared 51 years of deep love, partnership, and cherished memories. Their bond was the foundation of a life filled with laughter, adventure, and enduring commitment.
Donna found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved the beach, where she spent peaceful hours collecting seashells and listening to the rhythm of the waves. She enjoyed dancing, traveling with her family, and visiting places such as Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, always embracing wherever life took her with warmth and love.
A proud military spouse and devoted supporter of veterans, Donna was a life member and auxiliary member of VFW Post 7909 in Jacksonville, Florida. She treasured her VFW family and especially enjoyed playing dominoes, sharing stories, and celebrating the camaraderie and fellowship of veterans and their loved ones.
Donna had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating, with her most treasured moments spent on fishing trips alongside her beloved husband. She was truly at peace on the water and in the beauty of the natural world.
Her creative spirit shone through her love of quilting and cross-stitching, crafts she used to create lasting expressions of love for her family. She also had a special affection for animals, especially birds, and held a particularly deep and unwavering love for her cherished cat, Sassy.
Above all, Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Stanley Goldy; two sons, Sean Goldy and Troy Tutton; mother, Belva Osborne; brother, Randy Smith (Pat Smith); sister, Darla Rhude (Randy Rhude); sister-in-law, Pearl Stincelli; and her beloved grandchildren, Paige Nicole Filippi, Reghan Goldy, Sean Goldy Jr., Ashley Tutton, and Savannah Tutton, along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Smith, and her son, Scotty Tutton.
A visitation will be held on June 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, Florida 32073. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
A committal service will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, at 1:30 p.m. Guests are asked to stage in Lane 3 of the procession staging area.
Donna’s life was a testament to love, service, and devotion—to her family, her community, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
