Dan and family,

Donna and I graduated from Southwest High. She was always the nicest person. She brought my best friend and I back together in the late '90s after more than 20 years without knowing each other's where-abouts. I was truly shocked by her sudden passing.

I know she's in the arms of Our Lord now with eternal happiness.

My prayers are with you that God will bring you comfort in these difficult times.

We will all miss her dearly.

Donna was such a wonderful & cheerful person.  She was very helpful & sweet to my mom when she had Alzheimers & she was my cousin's best friend & neighbor for many years.  She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched.  You are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Donna was always there for those of us who needed her. She supported her children (and in fact, all our children)in their school and church activities.  Her thoughtfulness was always appreciated...like when she used to bring stickers for Betsy's eye patch...Betsy was 5 then and had to wear a patch every day for a year.  There wasn't a Sunday that went by that Mrs. Donna didn't bring a new sticker for her. Betsy is now 20 and has never forgotten her kindness.  Donna's job as Band Monitor of the Joyful Noise Band is now legendary...those were good days for all of us:) I will miss her quick wit, easy smile and funny Facebook posts...she was 'one of a kind' and a well loved friend. My thoughts, prayers and love are with her family.

Momma Scott, you will be deeply missed here on earth. I have been so blessed to have you in my life. Your guidance and wisdom will stay with me until the day that we see each other, again. There are no words to describe how important you have been to me and my family over the years.  You were a true champion to humanity and a wonderful, caring, and understanding person. Donna was my mother's best friend and a second mother to us after her passing.  She was one of the most lovely people I have ever met.   Donna was always there for me over the years with her words of wisdom,comfort, and humor.   She taught me so many lessons of life over the years, and I know I am a better person because of her.
   I was able to see each one of you children grow up, through her words of love and pride as she would share your stories.
  Dan, she was the one that kept you and I connected, as the years and miles seperated us, and i loved her for doing that.
  I feel blessed  to have had  Donna as my sister-in -law and friend..
You are all in my prayers as you find your path through this difficult time.

Donna and I have been good friends since about the 7th grade.   She married into my family - and we became closer thru all the experiences of life. The love she had for her 4 children was priceless.  'Gamma' was looking forward to being with Liam as he grew -- he was the 'new man' in her life.  She has left a hole in my heart and a void in my life that will never be filled. We always ended out chats with "love you" -- and it will be true forever.

My wife Linda was Mrs. Scott's massage therapist.  Linda spoke affectionately and highly of Donna.  Our prayers for the repose of Donna's soul and the comfort of her family.

When I first moved to Florida, Donna was one of the first people I met.  We were neighbors who became friends.  I am very blessed to have had her in my life.  My deepest condolences go to her family.

As a Guardian Ad Litem, Donna positively affected the lives of many children. She was a strong, dedicated  child advocate, who considered each court-appointed child as "her" child. She refused to give up on even the toughest cases, obtaining services for and insisting on what was in the child's best interest.  She arranged her personal schedule around court cases so she could be there in person to advocate for the child's needs and she thought nothing of traveling to other counties or states to check on a child or to conduct a home study.  Donna was respected by  attorneys, staff, caseworkers and judges who came to depend on her outstanding investigations but she was loved by "her" children. Mary Beth Ridderman
