Elva Josephine Watson

Her sense of responsibility and hardworking nature were the hallmark of who she truly was. She had one of the most giving spirits which was demonstrated by generosity and helpfulness to countless relatives and friends. She was a great example of a woman of dignity and honor to her children who witnessed her good-moral character and mental strength as head-of-household.

Her religious discipline was evident, by her commitment to daily reading and studying of Biblical scriptures, after becoming a Witness. She was a former seamstress and retired Dietetic Technician. She was still adept at doing seamstress tasks such as, mending clothing and other household items up until shortly before her passing. Her cooking skills were always excellent and her delicious food will be missed. Her mental clarity was with her to the end.

She will be deeply missed by her family who loved her dearly and all of whom she loved dearly. Survived by:

Her cremation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Dignity Memorial, Jacksonville, Florida.

A religious service for her immediate family and church family will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Kingdom Hall, 17 Knight Boxx Rd, Orange Park, FL 32065

A memorial in her honor will be held at a date to be arranged and information about it will be sent to relatives, friends and all others.
