Ena Jessie Dorr, lovingly known as “Nannie,” passed peacefully on January 2, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Dorr Sr., who preceded her in death, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend, and a faithful servant of God.
Nannie lived a life of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, where love was freely given, and faith was lived daily. One of the verses closest to her heart was Nahum 1:7:
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.”
Nannie leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of faith and
love. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace knowing she is at rest and home with the Lord
A committal service will take place on January 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM located at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
